About

Hi! I'm Joshua, the creator of Match Simulator.

This website was made as a hobby project in March of 2019. Since then, it has gotten a lot of interest from people all over the world. In December 2020 I found out that around 30K matches had been simulated, so I decided to take on the project again and try to make it even better.

If you like this project and want to contribute financially, that would be much appreciated! Any contribution helps me a lot and allows me to spend more time working on this project.

There it is, the 2024/25 season is now LIVE! Enjoy :)

The new Champions League format is live now!

Update: Europa League has been added as well

I have a few propositions to be added. Can you consider these.

  1. Players’ match ratings
  2. Possibility of injuries (would make simulations more realistic)
  3. View of the players’ fitness in the simulation (and also stamina ratings for players)
  4. Possibility to make substations yourself

I appreciate your work and that you have made this nice website.

On idea 4: i think subs should be made after a player is injured and isn't able to continue, tired, performed poorly or tactical ones, also time-wasting ones. Injuries are already planned.

And subs after a player is booked are also common.

Yes when reworking substitutions I will take those things into account

Also, im against manual subs because of the hypothetical scenario where an user would make all substitutions in completely arbitrary minutes, and making manual substitutions would have to be in-game, but i will still Dislike that idea because in-game injury time would have to be affected in some cases because the formula will be different in the future.

I wrote that idea because teams in the simulation makes usually so random subs example attacker is swithed to defender or something else.

Attacker to defender happens when a team is winning by a narrow margin and wants to hold their lead. The opposite happens when it's losing by a narrow margin, though for that to happen both teams must have not used all the sub windows. Also happens after a red in real life, even a late booking by an attacker

It’s not quite like that because also when match is a draw teams make random subs.

And sometimes if team is losing they sub attacker off and defender comes in place of attacker. And also in the opposite way when team is winning they sub defender off and attacker comes in.

This is true indeed, but it's a bit randomized. So when a team is behind they are more likely to replace a defender by an attacker and vice versa if they are ahead. When it's a draw it is most likely to substitute equaly, but there is chance that a midfielder comes on for an attacker etc.

I meant that injury time would be lower with less subs and that manual subs  would make it possible for subs to happen between the 1th to 6th minutes

Or does the in-game formation change when that like sub happens. Because otherwise that kind of random subs doesn’t make sense.

You'd have to imagine that, yes. For ths standard engine it doesn't really matter, but it does for the beta engine. I am aware of the problem and will try to solve it in a rework of the match engine

  1. Player ratings are high on the planned list
  2. Injuries even higher ;)
  3. Also planned
  4. Also planned

Thanks for the kind words :)

Out of curiousity and if you can tell, what's highest on the list?

To be honest, I only have a timeline up until about February.

The next updates will include more events, match of the day (i.e. real-life matches being featured on homepage and maybe other parts of the website).

Then there will be changes in the cup creation. Where you would now use cup presets, all available leagues will be getting official presets that you can use to quickly create leagues. Same for cups such as FA Cup, Champions League etc.

After that, there will be a complete redesign of the website, which is scheduled to release between Christmas and the end of January.

From then, I will focus again on the match engine and stuff like player ratings, stamina, substitutions, etc. will be tackled.

There it is, the 2024/25 season is now LIVE! Enjoy :)

Thank you, but what about events? Other than the Champions league, the leagues aren't updated either

Coming soon!

Will the champions league format be avalible when creating a cup?

İ hope

Dear moderators, is it possible to make it so that teams from Mods can be seen in the Teams section?

Hi all, it's been a while since I have last worked on the website and been active. This has to do with me currently moving to a new house - a process that has taken (and will still take) quite some time.

I know that you are all eagerly waiting for the 2024/25 season update, this update can only come once the new data is available. Usually, the update is at the end of September or at the beginning of October. I will do my best to make it happen around that time this year as well, so keep an eye out :)

Another frequently requested addition is the new Champions League format. When we opened the BETA in April, I had hoped it would only take about two months to make that the definite release. After that, I would be able to add new features and formats et cetera. So that was all planned for around June/July. But I simply did not have enough time to finish up. So that's the situation now, we have a BETA that is around 70% finished.

The reason that it is difficult to add the new Champions League format now, is that I would have to add it twice basically; once in this main website, and once in the BETA. Of course, all the core functionality could remain the same (even though there would still be a few differences in the BETA), but the look and feel would have to be designed differently.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. An option is to only add the new format for the BETA, another option is to just refocus on finishing the BETA as soon as possible and add it after it's done - but there's no saying how long this would still take...

I want to keep you all in the loop as I understand it can get frustrating not hearing any updates so I hope this answers some questions.

In the meanwhile, I will do my best to use every single spare minute to work on the website and hopefully work towards a release of the BETA.

Thanks for understanding!

Best, Joshua

Thank you for the works

Hello Joshua,

Thank you very much for presenting us with this beautiful project. It’s really great to be able to compare clubs from all around the world that would never play against each other and create our own fantasy leagues. We are eagerly looking forward to your new update for the 24-25 season and the new UEFA tournament format.

Best regards.

Reminder: 2024/25 season in MS will come as soon as FC25 releases (September 27th, could be later). Avoid flooding the same question in the comments. Remember to use a mod while waiting.

Good to hear :) can we also expect the champions league cup format around that time as well?

No idea. Joshua has been busy lately I think, so hopefully he'll add it soon. But we cannot be sure.

The new Champions League format is live now!

Update: Europa League has been added as well

when you can do Eurpoa League and Conference League

oh wow, thats so cool

Anyone here alive? It's back!

Hello I have an idea to make it more refined. Would it be possible to simulate a whole matchday, or even a whole season with a button. It was fun to start, but later on, I could not be asked to simulate hundreds of games to see who will win the league.

It has been asked quitely alot, that idea is known for a while, just wait.

i agree but you have to wait. i think this should be in faq

Great Idea, It's a pain deciding who won the league with a 32 Team Round Robin indeed

Slovan Bratislava and FK Crvena Zvezda have been added to the database and are now available to use in your matches and cups.

Big thanks to Larsson for creating the players :)

Greatest comeback ever?

Who's had a better comeback in match simulator?

https://matchsimulator.com/match/c2735ec2ffd832f0/lazio-vs-napoli

Your comeback is really good but look at this one (well it's true that it's in two games...), Italy won 4-0 in the first leg and Portugal was deprived of Bernardo Siva who was suspended...

https://matchsimulator.com/match/4a3f802d7d8bd8da/portugal-vs-italy

How tf Italy won if Portugal was able to beat them 6-0

I dont now, the hazard of football

Important note:

Many of you are wondering if it's possible to simulate faster (such as once per league or once per matchday). It will come probably on a premium feature, not yet confirmed when exactly. If possible, avoid asking the same question we have answered before. Thank you for your attention!

EURO 2024 is now available as an event: https://matchsimulator.com/event/9/uefa-euro-2024

Let's get the hype for this tournament started :)

FINALLY
The record has been broken: 126.8K matches simulated in 24 hours!

Happy New Year everyone! Here's to another year of Match Simulator, looking forward to seeing what heights we can reach :)

We have some big stuff planned for this year, including a redesign coming soon... Thank you all for being a part of the community and coming with suggestions and ideas, really happy with how invested you all are!

happy new year for you too!my birthday's tomorrow!with exams sadly.....

Happy birthday! Hope your exams went well :)

thank you very much!!

What you get on your exams, send pic for proof plz.

I'd just like to appreciate Larsson and Joshua for this 2023-24 version as it's very enjoyable with all the mods by Larsson and Joshua has done a good job with the new commentary system as it's more interesting to watch then earlier.

I have long wanted to incorporate real-life football more into this website, and with this new version I found a way to do so. In the events, you will now find current leagues and competitions, along with up-to-date standings, fixtures, and similar to the World Cup page, you can easily start the cup from this page.

In the future, more leagues and cups will be added such as Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, etc.

And there's a lot more to come with regards to integration of real-life football, so keep an eye out!

Look forward to your reactions and as always, let me know if you encounter any problems.

Quick links:

https://matchsimulator.com/event/4/eredivisie

https://matchsimulator.com/event/3/premier-league

https://matchsimulator.com/event/2/uefa-champions-league (also added FK Crvena Zvezda to the base game, based on Larsson's mod)

Update: just included that the schedule of events that are a league (Premier League, Eredivisie) is now also correctly generated when you start a cup from the event page.

in the world cup page, it says there are 43 comments even though there are 30

Thanks, probably counting deleted comments as well

Erm why is eredivisie there before the Europa or Serie a lmao

Unsurprising because joshua is dutch

Joshua created best website : )

Hi Joshua! First I would like to thank you for all your work and say I really love what you do with it. It is really great!

I have some suggestions that I think will improve the experience using the simulator:

1. Substitutes: Right now the simulator takes random 3 players from the bench and bring them into the field, regardless their rating or position (except a GK). There should be an option to set up the 3 substitues while making the line-up (choosing the player who going out and the one who replace him). If that option is a bit comlex to create, at least the simulator should pick the best 3 players from the bench, the same way it picks the best 10 outfield players for the national teams. (I had a match when I put Mbappe on the bench for 'realism' and he didn't come in all the match).

2. Shirt Numbers: I think it will be cool and will improve the experience if each player will have a shirt/squad number. It won't affect the match, it will only be displayed on the line-up menu next to the players' position and in the match screen when the player do something in the game. In the national teams I guess it's more complicated so it can be automotic like the England national team thing when the starting 11 are always numbers 1-11.

(I know it can be really hard to go over every player and now add a number so if you want- my friends and I will be able to make an Excel/Google-Sheets file with the needed database of shirt numbers.)

3. Custom Nation's Flag: There is a bug for a couple of years by now that you can't see a custom nation's logo (with no difference if it's your mod or someone else's), and you just see the gray default badge. So it made me think- when fixing that, there should be no option while creating a new nation in the mod creator, and the nation's logo can be only rectangle that you can change its colors so it will represent the nation flag.

Again I will say that I love all of your work and and hopefully the simulator will be better and better. (And sorry if it is hard to understand me, English isn't my natural language)

I like your 3rd idea;

However, I would be against your 2nd idea. As someone who makes lots of mods, I would be against having to add more and more data. It will slow down the progress.

I use your mods and I understand what you say, but you can think about it like the fact you set the nationality to a player that his nation doesn't exist in the database (For example:  Kangwa from Crvena Zvezda who is from Zambia) so you already getting slow by adding a lot of data that doesn't affect the game. This data is there for fun and realism (:

really like your mods by the way

Thank you!

On idea 1, i would also like substitution for goalkeepers especially for serious injuries (planned) and them being sent off. If all 3 subs are used or no sub gk is available then there should be an outfield player in goal with their name mentioned.

Thanks for the suggestions!

  1. There will be a way to deterimine your bench sizes + amount of substitutions later on. The idea of presetting who comes on for who, is interesting. Further down the line I would also like users to be able to make manual substitutions during the game.
  2. I was actually thinking about shirt numbers some time ago. I do have them available in my dataset, so that could work. And as for Larsson's concern, we could also just randomly generate shirt numbers
  3. Forgot about it a bit and you're right, I do want to add a flag editor, just haven't gotten to it yet.

Thanks for the kind words :)

Randomly generate? But why? They should be the real-life ones if implemented but change every season (e.g. bellingham 5 in madrid and 10 in england) and shirt numbers in national teams change over the season. I am against shirt numbers for that.

I believe we would really like Joshua to add injuries to match simulator.

https://beta.matchsimulator.com/match/5cfa89bccc5c1d73/viktoria-plze-vs-real-sociedad

all own goals lol

The events for the top ranked leagues for the 2024/25 season have been added now as well. Please have a little patience for the European competitions, those require new functionality that will come later.

Enjoy the events!

Thanks for your works!

Thank you so much

Dear moderators, is it possible to make it so that teams from Mods can be seen in the Teams section?

New champions league format pleasee.. we need to test itt :))

Honestly I feel bad for athletic Bilbao fans:

https://matchsimulator.com/match/e7f78313f8768614/inter-vs-athletic-club-de-bilbao

I know the Swiss model format will be created in time for 2024 - 25, but I just wanted to see how Match Sim thinks the UCL shapes up next year. I created an Mbappe to Madrid mod for private use so this ends up more accurate (but let's be honest, that saga is a never-ending one).

The New Format

The new format sees 36 clubs partake in one league stage - where each club plays 8 games, 4 at home and 4 away, with 8 unique opponents, two from each of the "pots", essentially four seeds based on UEFA coefficient. Typically pot 1 contains the holders of the Champions League and Europa League along with the winners of the top European leagues, but given the uncertain state of many title races, I will be basing this purely off of coefficient. For easier simming, I am separating the 36 into four "groups" - with each team playing other group members once, before I then compile the groups, tediously, into one league standing. I will also be using the league standings as of the current date, the 16th of April, 2024.

Teams ranked from 1 to 8 in the league stage progress straight to the last 16, and teams ranked 9 to 24 take part in a "knockout play-off", with the eight winners of those games making the last 16. From there, it progresses as usual.

Now, for your convenience, here are how the four extra spots are distributed. Note that I assume Leverkusen win the Europa League, and the Champions League, well, every club still in that has already qualified here. Lille and Twente are given direct byes to the league stage for this reason.

  • Two spots to the two leagues who had the best performing clubs in European competitions for the preceding season. In this case, it's 2023/24, and Italy and Germany taking these two extra spots. For now, Roma and Dortmund take these two spots, as they are fifth in their leagues at the moment.
  • One extra spot to the fifth best league (France). At this time Lille occupy 4th place, and get the extra spot.
  • One extra spot distributed through the qualifiers.

Results of the qualifying play-offs:

Galatasaray 4 - 2 Crvena zvezda (2-1, 2-1)

Shakhtar Donetsk 2 (3) - 2 (0) Young Boys (2-0, 0-2)

Sparta Praha 2 - 3 Bodø/Glimt (2-1, 0-2)

Midtjylland 3 - 0 HNK Rijeka (3-0, 0-0)

PAOK 4 - 3 Malmö (1-3, 3-0)

Benfica 2 - 4 Anderlecht (1-1, 1-3)

Rangers 7 - 5 FC Lugano (3-2, 4-3)

Now, here are the pots.

Pot 1: Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool, Inter, RB Leipzig, Roma, Barcelona.

Pot 2: Atlético de Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, Benfica, Arsenal, Shakhtar Donetsk, Rangers, AC Milan

Pot 3: Feyenoord, Sporting CP, PSV, Salzburg, Lille, PAOK, Celtic, Galatasaray, Bodø/Glimt

Pot 4: Midtjylland, AS Monaco, Aston Villa, FC Twente, Girona, VfB Stuttgart, Bologna, Brest, Union SG

And now, the "groups", only made for easier fixture-making. I do realise now that there was a flaw in the group-making in that two teams from the same country ended up group partners, but y'know, it was just the once. Right? Right?

Group A: Manchester City, PSG, RB Leipzig, Atlético de Madrid, Benfica, Feyenoord, Celtic, Girona, Union SG

Group B: Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal, Rangers, Salzburg, Bodø/Glimt, AS Monaco, FC Twente

Group C: Liverpool, Inter, Borussia Dortmund, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sporting CP, Lille, PAOK, Galatasaray, Midtjylland

Group D: AS Roma, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Milan, PSV, Aston Villa, VfB Stuttgart, Bologna, Brest

On now to the league stage, coming soon.

What a second leg MCCLUTCHINAY https://matchsimulator.com/match/7d9ab1460ea70721/arsenal-vs-manchester-united

This afternoon and evening the website has been down as the result of a bot attack making more than 50 thousand accounts and comments, with more coming every second and spamming every comment thread they could find. I have taken some measures to prevent this from happening in the future, but I want to thank you all for flagging the comments so that I was able to at least notice the problem and take some preliminary precautions.

I had to make quite some big changes, so if you encounter any problems, feel free to reach out!

The bug is that the you have been verified message appears even when logged out. happens when you click the verification link whilst logged out

WHAT!

CRAZY match!

Hey everyone, so a few days ago, in the matchsimulator subreddit, I let people decide what teams they wanted in the world cup hosted by Germany. There wasn't a lot of activity so I had to randomize some teams.

Now I don't know if this is allowed exactly (if it's not I'll delete this comment) but I wanna share the results of the world cup here too along with a picture of the groups. Let me know what you think!

The cup: https://matchsimulator.com/cup/778684/world-cup-germany

At least we qualified for this World Cup (I can not be an Italy fan anymore.)

Argentina still cant beat saudi arabia

who got 3rd place?

I simulated Brazil vs Italy now and the result was Brazil 2-1 Italy, so Brazil I guess. They should honestly add a third place match in cups though, because it didn't take into account the team's form.

i agree, they should add a 3rd place game between the semifinals and the final

Noted!

thank you :)

Maybe you could join us in the MatchSim Discord-server. There are plenty of active members who would love to join!

Match Simulator Is So Addictive.

ik right

I think the moderator needs start setting a actual deadline on adding a option to simulating a whole match week, not just keep saying "in the future". People's opinions are way more important than advertising clicks. I have used a lot of simulation websites, I give credit for this one due to the details but the rest have better user friendliness such as simulating the whole week or even season which is Awesome. He knows that there's large amount of population wanting the option but people are just being nice and quiet for now until it's gets ridiculously boring having to sim 380 matches individually like a some kind of revenue slave mule. That's all

I will start by saying I'm a bit dissappointed and frustrated by this comment, given the countless hours I've put in this project and keeping in touch with the community. I will try to explain the situation with a bit more context and would also like to point out that you are free to not use this website, it's a hobby project that I am spending nearly all my free time on and I can't go any faster than I am currently doing. That said, I want to address your first point: a 'deadline' for when a feature comes.

-You have to understand that, since this is a hobby project, I don't have an infinite amount of time and other people that are working on this. So naturally, every feature costs time and with so much requests and plans I just can't satisfy all of them at once. Development costs time, and it is really hard to estimate how much time new features will take. That's why I don't work with a public planning, because it would only dissappoint people. Personally, I have a full prioritized list of all requests and I am slowly working step by step.

-I wish I could spend more time on this, but for that, I would need money. Now, this is where the problem lies. The ad revenue that Match Simulator is currently generating only allows me to work a few hours less than fulltime. If the revenue would go up significantly, the point could be reached where I have the luxury to go all in on this project. But that is just not the position we are currently in.

With that in mind, pageviews = ad revenue. Removing 90% of the pageviews would probably mean a similar decrease of revenue, meaning I'd have to work fulltime to compensate for that, meaning I wouldn't have any time to work on Match Simulator anymore. And that's just not what I want, as I love working on this website and hearing many positive responses from people who love it.

I just hopes this gives a bit of insight and understanding.

Also, don't blame the moderators either, I am very thankful for their (voluntary) contribution and they (currently) also do not have any insights in the planning.

I appreciate your response, The situation is not something that people are satisfied with but I'm willing just to understand your point. I realize why your website is free since all other simulations charge you to begin with, while yours has a caveat with its pageviews. I'm just saying, that I would rather you just charge people already since that's the only way you'll make it to where we can sim the whole week. There are people here with like 4 or 5 cups/leagues running, that take hours or even days to sim through. Since you say this is just a hobby and still need to make an earning, I won't push my point anymore. But you have to let people know your plans on simming match week instead of people like me waiting for years that could've move on to other website. I appreciate you clarifying that. Cheers mate, best of luck

Matchweek simming will come, but right now I'm working on a redesign and after that we will focus on the next steps on the planning, which also includes this.

It would be very great idea to sim the whole matchdays because it feels kinda broing to sim through every single match, i mean simming of single match should still be there but also simming of whole matchday or even the whole cup would be interesting.

Idea. The possibility to mark spots in a league table. For exemple: you can mark the relegation zone red; and the play-off zone green or yellow.

Good Idea, for the English Premier Leauge:Green=Champions League,Yellow=Europa League and Red=Relegation to the Championship

Interesting idea for sure, will look into it

We've achieved a remarkable milestone! On December 11, 2023, at 11:57 UTC, we soared past an incredible 50 million simulated matches. These incredible numbers are all thanks to the vibrant community that has joined us on this incredible journey. Thank you all for being a vital part of the success of Match Simulator!

A special shout-out to the match that marked this momentous occasion: Daejon Citizen - Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors :)

But we're not stopping here; our sights are set on an even more ambitious goal... Let's aim to close out 2024 with a whopping 100 million matches!

It shows 49.9 for me

What an amazing milestone!

As an expert on soccer (football) clubs, I appreciate that Joshua made the website possible! I mean the events tab is an excellent addition to Match Simulator but some areas need to improve the National Teams need flags on the Public Mods though. but still, I like the website.

I won't make any more mods.

I've made 270 teams with at least 20 players so far. It's fine for now... Haha

Can't you make a last mod with japanese teams ?

Sorry, no.

I won't use them myself, so that's why I only make UEFA-related mods.

Well if you only make UEFA related mods can you please do Northern Ireland. Considering Crusaders put up a decent fight against Rosenborg, Linfield and Larne almost qualified. They have some interesting teams and deserve some recognition.

I respect that you have made a lot of mods already so even if you have any spare time you could make a mod on Northern Ireland.

I've already made Linfield, Larne, Crusaders and Cliftonville.

It's in my mod Northern-Ireland!

I've made at least 4 teams for every UEFA country, so that everyone can simulate the UCL, ECL and UECL including the realistic qualifications.

For N.-Ireland: https://matchsimulator.com/mod/47677/northern-ireland

Thanks for all that you do mate, appreciate it.

How do you know the overall and the statistics of the mod's teams players?

It's mostly based on the player's value on transfermarkt.de

1. Value, 2) Statistics (goals, assists), 3) does he play in the starting XI, 4) is he a captain, 5) age 6) if he was featured on earlier Fifa games, I make his rating based on his previous ones

It's very interesting, do you have a specific formula based on those parameters or you just "feel" what the rating should be?

I just 'feel' it, Haha

But players worth 100.000 mostly have a reating between 60-62;

200.000 --> 61-63

300.000 --> 62-64 etc

I respect your decision tbh, i tried to make mods and i realized how much time it actually takes, the community is definetly grateful for what have you produced

Thank you very much!

Yes it took lots of time!

I finished my UEFA-project. All UEFA countries now have at least 4 teams!

Enjoy simulating! (I'll still add more and more teams)

Nice! Will feature them all

could you make an option to copy mods...? because I spend a lot of time recreating tams and players

Could you apply the new substitution rule? Maximum 5 substitutions, and 6 if the match get into extra time

We have resolved the confusion between Crvena Zvezda and Red Star FC in Match Simulator. Previously, when Crvena Zvezda was added to the game, they were mistakenly substituted with Red Star FC. This was not an issue initially, as Red Star FC was not included in the game at that time. However, now that Red Star FC is competing in Ligue 2, we recognized the need for accurate team representation.

In older cups where Crvena was used, it will now be shown as Red Star. For matches that have already been played, this is not an issue as the underlying players and stats still belong to that of Crvena. But for matches still to play this means that Red Star will play the matches instead of Crvena. However, we have decided not to clean up old data for matches from the 23/24 season, as most users have likely moved on from that version.

We appreciate your understanding and hope this improves your experience!

Thanks a lot for the change! Could please also update Red Star's logo?

I think you could do that yourself?

Of course i can do it but it'd be better if all users have access to the real logo without creating a mod

Done!

Thanks a lot!

https://matchsimulator.com/match/00c1dc3e6e0522a7/fk-crvena-zvezda-vs-martigues Hey, I believe there has been a confusion when naming the host team of that game. I have checked their squad and it is actually the French 2nd division side Red Star FC and not the FK Crvena Zvezda from Serbia. It is possible to change their name and logo? Thank you!

I know that y'all are waiting for 24/25, FC25 is releasing tomorrow (at the time of writing) but patience is very important, it could come at anytime.

Where is season 2024/2025? Tomorrow or 2 days?

Hi! 1st and 2nd French divisions are available on matchsimulator, so i decided to create a mod for 3rd division! Match Simulator | Mod 'French 3rd Division'

With all this clubs, i added also FC Martigues, which got promoted to 2nd division this year

Note : For Dijon, Nîmes and Red Star, here is other mods created by other users :

Match Simulator | Mod 'Teams France'

Match Simulator | Mod 'France'

Great mod, thanks so much! I was wondering though, where can you find the Eerste Divise teams?

Hi! Thanks a lot!

If you are speaking about the First French Division, it's already integrated on matchsimulator : Match Simulator | Ligue 1

If you are speaking about another thing, tell me i'll help you!

Sorry for not specifying! It is the Dutch second division

Oh okay there's a mod by @Larsson which covers it :)

https://matchsimulator.com/mod/49450/netherlands-2nd-division

Hope this helps!

Hi, is there a way to not login every 20 minutes? Its extremely annoying. And when Im simulating a match, it sometimes tells me to login and it messes with my activated mods, messing with the entire match outcome. Also could you guys add a feature where possibly 3 teams advance from a 4 team group?

too

I was looking for an original way to have fun... so I had this idea. I created a standard team for the Euro with an unlimited budget but with the only condition of only being allowed one player of each nationality (24 players selected) and I did the same thing for the CAN , the Copa America and the Asian Cup (here I had to use several players of the same nationality due to the lack of Asian players in the game). All the mods are available in the mod part of the old part of Match Sim and I am also providing you with the link.

XI Copa America 2024

XI Euro 2024

XI Can 2024

XI Asian Cup 2024

can you also give the links to the cups you simulated with this mod?

For the moment I haven't simulated them yet, but I plan to do the Champions League and Premier League. Besides, do you have an idea of the four clubs to be removed from the Champions League to rejoin the four XI?

noooooooooooooooooooooo not Man.city

What about the other leagues

WDYM?

Did you simulate the other leagues yet?

Crazy game! 5 goals and a straight red in the final 10 minutes!

Could you add an option to sim a gameweek rather than every game? So, simulating 38 times rather than 380 times for a 20 league system?

We get that question a lot. It has to do with the ads you see every page.  For example: if you simulate the Premier League, you see an ad during every simulation. So 380 ads in total. If you simulate only every matchweek, it's 'only' 38 ads.  Since Joshua works on this during his free time, it should be an attractive project to work on. And if he sells less ads, he gets less compensation for the time he spends on working on MatchSim.

However, Joshua is really taking time to think about a solution. I hope you understand!

On matchday 5, Semenyo got himself suspended for 3 weeks (until md8). Then 3 weeks later on matchday 8, Tyler Adams got himself suspended for 3 weeks as well (until md11). Bournemouth players are apparently rather aggressive haha
