No there is not, only monthly and annual options. But in that case I'd recommend going for annual

So you are on the edit players page and you see an infinite loading indicator? I'd suggest trying another browser to see if it happens there too.

I just checked from your perspective and for me its just about 1-2 seconds. So I'm assuming something browser related is going wrong. 

Oke so here's how it works, a little simplified:

-Standard: only the player rating counts towards the team strength. So 11 players of 99 rating means a team strength of 99. No matter their other attributes, those are only used to determine who scores, who gets the assist, who takes the pen etc.

-Beta: Here, the combination of rating, attacking and defending matters, but also tied to the position the player plays in. So if you have 99 rated players but 1 attacking, 1 defending, and lets assume everyone plays in a perfect position, it would come down to 99 + 1 + 1 = 101/3 = 34 average team strength. Then having the team full of 1 rated, if they have 99 attacking and 99 defence and they play in perfect positions, it would mean 99+99+1=199/3= 66 avg team strength. So in that case, on beta the 1 rated team would probably win. Also for beta, the attributes like finishing, crossing etc are only relevant to determine the events.
